ABOUT US

Coos for Cancer was created by Phinity Ranch combining two very impactful things in our life. We believe in offering a different prospective on adversity while advocating awareness and sharing a wee bit of the vast wonders of agricultural.

Phinity Ranch is a third generation cattle farm out of Fair Grove, Mo. On the farm we strive to preserve the farming prosperity and pass the wonders of agriculture on for generations to come.

In 2012 one of our own at Phinity Ranch received the diagnoses of “STAGE THREE TESTICULAR CANCER”. Our world seemed to have stopped with these words, yet the world itself continued on pace.

At the time our three daughters were coming into defying moments in their own lives. The two older girls were starting freshman year of high school and the youngest 5th grade. Ordinary life obstacles required a lot more will to get through.

Despite the cumbersome journey the thing that stood out to us the most and still sticks with us today, is all the support from our family and friends. Regardless of the type of support received whether it was a phone call, letters, driving to an appointment or even gifts… it showed that no matter how cancer has imprinted on you, we did not and do not stand alone.

As for now our personal cancer journey remains in remission. We continue to view life differently while we make the most of each day given. Sadly cancer still affects us not only from our personal journey but as others around us receive the shattering diagnosis.

In efforts to share the love we created Coos for Cancer, we find most of our farm friends something worth sharing. However there is something about our notable Highland cows, known as a Coos, that are especially therapeutic and majestic. The farm provides a unique way to continue onward, and spread awareness all while offering a different prospective on adversity.

We are Phinity Ranch…
